Straight from celebrity chef Candice Kumai’s latest cookbook is this dreamy recipe for a dark chocolate and coconut smoothie bowl. “[It’s] a delicious, clean, and simple way to start the mornings in one simple bowl,” Candice says. (But we think this would be a tasty treat any time of the day!)
When putting together her cookbook, Candice focused on healthy recipes that will make the body feel good – especially after a period of not-so-great eating. Instead of a detox, Candice suggests a reset, to “undo damage from a period of indulgent eating, retrain taste buds and give the body a fresh start.” Let’s take a look at this dessert-like, protein-packed smoothie bowl that definitely fits the bill.
